Wagner in his capacity as provost marshal, dealing with recruiting, draft, enrollment, substitutes, deserters, equipment for volunteers, and related issues. The other records include circulars from the Office of the Acting Assistant Provost Marshal General at Albany, receipts for clothing issues, returns of public property, and requisitions.
